Virginie’s story begins in the Mediterranean seaside town of Sfax, Tunisia, where she spent her childhood playing amidst the marble blocks of her family’s multigenerational marble fabrication business. Her early years were immersed in the creative compositions and design conversations that buzzed through the workshop. Marble wasn’t just stone; it was a canvas for artistic expression. However, when political unrest forced her family to leave Tunisia, the Feder family relocated to Paris. As a teenager, Virginie roamed the Parisian streets, enchanted by the city's stunning 19th-century architecture and ornate apartments. Her passion for design began to take root, sparked by these experiences, and she started to dream of one day becoming a designer herself, blending old-world elegance with the natural beauty of her North African heritage.

Virginie’s design process is deeply personal and uniquely global. Inspired by the intricate patterns of her Tunisian roots and the ornate, historic beauty of Paris, she seamlessly merges these influences into what she calls “timeless transitional” design. Her work is characterized by the use of natural materials, particularly marble, accented by handcrafted tiles, intricate patterns, and subtle yet impactful color palettes. Each project starts with a story. Virginie listens to her clients, drawing from their individual experiences, and infuses her own flair of combining different cultural elements.
